Namaste! I am Mayank Padhi
I am a Data Scientist in NXP semiconductors. I obtained my Master’s degree in Data Science in Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology. I did my Master’s Graduation Project with Canon Inc. on making a regression model to predict the change of color due to dry back. I have previously been engaged in research and course work at TU/e and internships at Maximl and REV’IT!.
Receiving my B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Information Technology in Computer Science, my undergraduate research experience was in the area of Biomedical Information Retrieval where we worked with IR platforms like Terrier. I was a member of IRLAB- DAIICT during my undergrad. More details are in my CV.
My interest area of research is to study and develop ML models. Applied statistics, machine learning and complex visualization techniques generally apply to the research problems that interest me. In programming languages, I prefer working with Python to create and study the ML models. SAS and R are my first choices when it comes to statistical analysis of data. My other interests include mountain biking, watching anime, cooking and gaming.

Implemented several deep learning techniques like making neural codes for image retrieval, detecting anomaly using VAEs, generating image caption using LSTM and classifying aspect-level sentiments using BiLSTM.
Implemented and compared different approaches(BFS, DFS, Iterative deepening, bidirectional search) to solve the problem. Used an informed weighted A* for finding the path and pruning the tree of states.
Browser extension developed to provide the feature of switching through the various types of search results in Google. The types of search result pages to switch to are All results, Images, Videos and News.
It provides a platform for consumers to demand the shops required in their locality which can be looked up by potential businesses and set up to cater their needs. Other consumers with similar demands in the locality can show support by upvoting and commenting their specific demands in the floated action.
